How much design qualities could increase the value of real estate properties?

In this video, we introduce a case-study from the residential market, in which we applied some microeconometric analysis on a data set of 340 transactions and floor plans, in order to understand the impact of the form design on the market value of apartments.

After examining the comparable transactions, demographic structure of the studied area, and street noise level, an optimum building program was generated to corresponds to the sub-market needs. Moreover, a case-specific AVM was created to evaluate the proposed form solutions based on the expected market value of each option.
